How Air Conditioning Gets Your Air Cold

A/C is a system that takes the basic laws of physics and chemistry and applies them for you. It all starts with your refrigerant, which is pressed down into a liquid by a compressor. This process produces a lot of heat, and that heat can be taken away by your radiator and the passing air. The now-cooled liquid is then released into a non-pressurized chamber, which allows it to become a gas again. This process requires energy, so it sucks in the heat energy from around it, and a fan blows air by that chamber to blow cool air onto you.
